God live among us to bring the highest form of Glory in our lives!

This is my prayer for you in this 2014 Christmas Season:

May the God of Peace give His peace to you. May He speak to YOU!

For God lives among us to watch over the flock, God lives among us to declare good news, and God lives among us to bring the highest glory possible.

Do you hear him speaking?

This past week a preaching friend of mine, Nick Vipperman made this statement; “Maybe you are holding on to so much in your clutched hands that God cannot give you something new.” I agree and I also ask, “Could it be we are so cluttered with the noise of the world, the busy, Christmas bustle, and noises of the Season that God is not able to be heard?”

It is not God that has stopped speaking…it is that you and me...we have stopped listening. Do you hear it…he wants to watch over the flock of the humble, he seeks to present a message of good news; he wants to declare his highest glory in your life.

There is Power, Power, Wonder Working Power!!!

Daniel 6:23
“The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.”

Walking with God opens opportunities of power.

Power is the possession of control, authority, or influence over people, matter, and things. Your God has the power over your circumstances and your life. You submit to Him and in return, He uses that power to PROVE He is God and is sovereign over every day, every hour, every minute, and every moment. How do we receive that power...through integrity to our commitment to God...in our daily habit of living the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles

Max Lucado writes a funny story, that one New Year's Day, in the Tournament of Roses parade, a beautiful float suddenly sputtered and quit. It was out of gas. The whole parade was held up until someone could get a can of gas. The amusing thing was this float represented the Standard Oil Company. With its vast oil resources, its truck was out of gas.

Often, Christians neglect their spiritual maintenance, and though they are "clothed with power" find themselves out of gas.

Luke 24:48-49
“You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

The Holy Spirit grants us power and we are to share that power in every fiber of our being.
There is power, power, wonder working power....

The unshakable life is on solid ground by walking with God that open opportunities of integrity, struggle, confidence, and power. The integrity we "commit to" in our walk with God doesn't take away our struggles. It builds our confidence because of the demonstration of God's power in the struggle.

Do you know the power of God in your life?
Give your heart to Him!

Renew your commitment to living integrity in your walk with God.

Make prayer, meditation, reflection, and communion with God a habit.

Stepping Aside

No one whose hope is in you
will ever be put to shame,
but they will be put to shame
who are treacherous without excuse.- Psalm 25:3
There are times my day seems like everyone is an "expert" and my job is to follow submissively. It is usually the same day that I want everyone to do what I tell them to do. Then I read psalm 25 and see that God does not override people's will, and we are not to do so either. Instead of trying to control people or situations, we are to pray that we will "hear" God's leading.

I am working on taking this approach; "If someone persists in doing something his or her own way, I am going to demonstrate confidence in God by stepping aside." I may learn a new way or they may learn a new way. God is big enough to get both of us out of any mess we make. The successful key is...He will get the glory and I get the honor of trusting Him.

A Loud Voice in the Sky!

Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." 29The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him. 30Jesus said, "This voice was for your benefit, not mine. 31Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. 32But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself." 33He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die".- John 12:28-33

I wonder what I would do if I heard a voice from the sky? Would I explain it off such as some did in this passage or would I listen to its direction and wisdom?

It is like I have never read this passage before. A voice came down...God has glorified His name and will glorify it again...The voice was for those listening! The glorified name of Jehovah is the declaration of His worship in our Lives!

I wonder what I would do if I heard a voice from the sky? I have the Word of God, the scriptures and there is no doubt that it comes directly from Him. Yet, many times I am explaining it off. I guess there is no reason to wonder.

Lord, help me to never explain off your righteousness and your teaching. Open the eyes of my heart, I want to see you high and lifted up. Thank you for being so glorious. In Jesus name, Amen.
