The biggest Lie - Friday Funny
Have a great weekend and you know I love ya - DonA Minister was walking down the street when he came upon a group of about a dozen boys, all of them between 10 and 12 years of age.
The group had surrounded a dog. Concerned lest the boys were hurting the dog, he went over and asked "What are you doing with that dog?"
One of the boys replied, "This dog is just an old neighborhood stray. We all want him, but only one of us can take him home. So we've decided that whichever one of us can tell the biggest lie will get to keep the dog."
Of course, the reverend was taken aback. "You boys shouldn't be having a contest telling lies!" he exclaimed. He then launched into a ten minute sermon against lying, beginning, "Don't you boys know it's a sin to lie," and ending with, "Why, when I was your age, I never told a lie."
There was dead silence for about a minute. Just as the reverend was beginning to think he'd gotten through to them, the smallest boy gave a deep sigh and said, "All right, give him the dog."

The Bride and Groom - Friday Funny
Happy Friday to you! This weekend is the Riley Festival. We are looking forward to that. For more information click on "Riley Festival." The queen this year sings in our choir, awesome Christian Girl. Way to God Melanie!
I seem to be in wedding mode (one tomorrow and one in VA next week) so I thought this would be a good Friday Funny. Enjoy and you know I love ya, - Don
The Bride & Groom
During the wedding rehearsal, the groom approached the pastor with an unusual offer:
"Look, I'll give you $100 if you'll change the wedding vows. When you get to the part where I'm supposed to promise to 'love, honor and obey' and 'be faithful to her forever,' I'd appreciate it if you'd just leave that out."
He passed the minister a $100 bill and walked away satisfied. On the day of the wedding, when it came time for the groom's vows, the pastor looked the young man in the eye and said:
"Will you promise to prostrate yourself before her, obey her every command and wish, serve her breakfast in bed every morning of your life, and swear eternally before God and your lovely wife that you will not ever even look at another woman, as long as you both shall live?"
The groom gulped and looked around, and said in a tiny voice, "Yes," then leaned toward the pastor and hissed: "I thought we had a deal."
The pastor put a $100 bill into the groom's hand and whispered: "She made me a better offer."
I am not sure I would go for this as a minister, but I might. - Happy Friday!

A Remarkable Parrot - Friday Funny

Three sons left home, went out on their own and prospered. They discussed the gifts they were able to give their elderly mother.
The first said: "I built a big house for our mother."
The second said: "I sent her a Mercedes with a driver."
The third said: "You know how our mother enjoys reading the Bible and she can no longer see very well. So I sent her a remarkable parrot that recites the entire Bible. It took elders in the church 12 years to teach him. Mama just has to name the chapter and verse and the parrot recites it. There isn't another parrot like it in the whole world and it is truely priceless."
Soon thereafter, their mother sent out her letters of thanks.
"Milton," she wrote, "the house you built is so huge. I live only in one room, but I have to clean the whole house."
"Gerald," she said, "I am too old to travel. I stay most of the time at home so I rarely use the Mercedes. And that driver is so rude! He's a pain!"
"But Donald," she said, "the little chicken you sent was absolutely delicious!"
Have a great Friday! You know I love ya, Don
-P.S. - This story is not original with me, I stole it from someone much funnier than me....it is still one of my favorites!

Friday Fun - Dr. Phil???
By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find
inner peace. Dr Phil proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to
finish all the things you have started and have never finished.
So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished,
and before leaving the house this morning,
I finished off a bottle of White Zinfandel,
a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my
old Prozac prescription, ate the remaining triple-fudge cake, the rest of the
cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates.
You have no idea how REALLY good I feel right now!
Have a great Friday and I pray that this little laugh will make you feel good right now...You kow I love ya, Don
- I would love to hear some of your funny stories...put them in the comments area.
