Matthew 6:26 - Jesus Said, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
There is a great deal of "I" in the world. It is not a new issue...Adam and Eve fell because of it and Noah suffered the flood because the world could only think of "I" and Moses smashed the ten commandments because of the "I" of the idolatry, and Jesus dealt with it in teaching His disciples that the birds do not think continually about "I" because God takes care of them.
I am sitting at the table and looking out the window at our bird feeder. There are 8 or 9 birds and they are beautiful and amazing. How much different would our world be if we stopped the "I" attitude and embraced the "Him" attitude. It would transform this entire planet. In fact, that is what we have to look forward to in the new heaven and the new earth.
I like my Ipod, Itunes, and even the butter that Karen buys for my cholesterol...BUT starting today, I have changed my attitude toward them to be a reminder that this world is not about me, but about Him and the future that all believers will share in the next world will be greater than anything we can imagine. I also know there will be no "I" but all about "Him."

"I'm getting back to the heart of worship, and it's all about you, Jesus." "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you."
No greater contentment, peace, and even power when we put Him first. The world CANNOT understand this, but it is glorious to the redeemed!
In Him,
Faith
Thanks Faith for Commenting.
God purpose for our life is to set Him as the priority. Then all the other purposes and priority come into focus. It amazes me how I can so easily forget that. You know we love ya...hello to Bill, too.
